Doug has over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry with an additional background as a manager/executive/consultant in diversified industries. About half of his corporate experience was in the compensation and benefits field, working his way up through various managerial roles to the executive level. He also has been an educator serving on the adjunct faculty at Tusculum University, and also as an instructor for World at Work for 40 years.
He joined the Cetera team in 2018 from MetLife / Mass Mutual where he was a Financial Advisor for 11 years. Doug earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Georgia State University.
Doug and his wife, Sandra, have an outstanding daughter and son-in-law and two grandchildren who live in Knoxville. He enjoys most spending time with the family, traveling, reading, golfing and viewing the many sporting events available in the area. Doug and Sandra came to Knoxville from Columbia, South Carolina in 1998, and prior to that they lived in Atlanta for over 30 years. Originally he grew up in Sarasota, Florida before attending college.
